On 15/04/2020, by its unanimous Decision No. 709/2020, the Chamber of the Hellenic Competition Commission approved, pursuant to Art. 8(3) of Greek Law 3959/2011, the proposed transaction notified on 17/01/2020, which concerns the acquisition of sole control by “doValue S.p.A.” (either itself or a subsidiary designated by do ValueSpA) over “Eurobank Financial Planning Services (FPS) Loan and Credit Claim Management Company SA” and (if do Value SpA exercises the relevant option right) over the newly established “REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT SA”.
Pursuant to the above decision, the Hellenic Competition Commission found that the proposed concentration, which concerns the broader market for claim management of loans and credit to individuals and companies with and without collateral, while falling within the scope of Art. 6(1) of Greek Law 3959/2011, does not raise any serious doubts as to its compatibility with the competition rules in the relevant markets involved.
