Economist - Lawyer

Pantelis Borovas graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens. He holds a Bsc Degree in Economics from the University of Essex as well as an Msc Economics Degree from the University of Warwick.

He joined the Hellenic Competition Commission in 2004 and was appointed Commissioner-Rapporteur in 2023. He has served the HCC in various positions of trust for 13 years, primarily as a Director at the Directorate General for Competition, handling numerous cartel, abuse of dominance and merger cases in a wide range of industries.
