| Summary of Decision |
By its unanimous Decision No. 619/2015, the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) cleared the notified acquisition by Selonda Aquaculture S.A. of Dias Aquaculture S.A. through the acquisition of all the assets and part of the liabilities of the latter, following a consolidation agreement of 30.4.2015 in accordance with Articles. 99 et seq. of the Bankruptcy Code (Law 3588/2007, as amended). The business activities of both companies are as follows: a) production and distribution of fresh Mediterranean fish (sea bream and sea bass), b) production and distribution of Mediterranean fish farming and c) production and distribution of fish feed. By its decision, the Commission held that the above concentration, which refers primarily to the fish farming sector, does not give rise to serious doubts as to its compatibility with the competition requirements in the individual markets concerned. |
