On 20 October 2025, the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC), in the context of its strategic planning to strengthen its international presence, along with its effort to extend cooperation with other national competition authorities at a bilateral level, proceeded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Austrian Federal Competition Authority (Bundeswettbewerbsbehörde).
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding by the President of the Hellenic Competition Commission, Ms. Irene Sharpe, and the Director General of the Federal Competition Authority of Austria, Ms. Natalie Miriam Harsdorf, took place in Athens, in the margins of the international conference organised by the HCC on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment.
