On September 4, 2025, the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) adopted Decisions No. 889/2025 and No. 890/2025, unanimously approving, pursuant to Article 8(3) of Law 3959/2011, the concentrations concerning the acquisition of sole control by the company “H.I.G. CAPITAL LL” over “ORPHEE BEINOGLOU INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTS S.A.” (“ΒEINOGLOU”). The transactions assessed consist in the acquisition of joint control by the companies “H.I.G. CAPITAL LLC” and “ORBIT HOLDINGS S.A.” over BEINOGLOU, the acquisition of “STREEM GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS S.A.” by BEINOGLOU, and the acquisition of sole control by the company “H.I.G. CAPITAL LLC” over BEINOGLOU.
The above concentrations mainly concern the markets for contract logistics services and freight forwarding services. The HCC, taking into account the low combined market shares of the parties, concluded that although the concentrations fall within the scope of Article 6(1) of Law 3959/2011, they do not alter the competitive conditions and do not raise serious concerns as to their compatibility with competition rules in the relevant markets in which the companies concerned operate.
