The Hellenic Competition Commission, in Chamber sitting, unanimously approved, under Article 8(3) of Law 3959/2011, the notified concentration under ref. no. 5714/26.08.2024 concerning the acquisition of indirect sole control by “APOLLO CAPITAL MANAGEMENT L.P.” over the companies “IGNITE ROTATE LLC”, “IGT CANADA SOLUTIONS ULC” and “EVERI HOLDINGS INC” as, although falling within the scope of Article 6 (1) of Law 3959/2011, it does not raise serious concerns as to its compatibility with competition rules in the individual markets concerned.

Summary of Decision According to the Decision, there are no horizontal overlaps in the market for provision of gambling and betting services, while in the market for publication and development of video games there is a horizontal overlap at the EEA level, however, the market shares of the parties to the transaction are negligible. Therefore, in the absence of any horizontal overlap on the one hand and of any affected markets on the other, the notified concentration is not expected to significantly restrict competition and does not raise serious concerns as to its compatibility with competition rules in any of the markets concerned.
