According to article 14 of Law 2672/1998 (OJ 290, issue A), the electronic messages submitted to the public bodies, in order to be valid, they have to include the following information:
- Name and surname of physical persons, or trade name in the case of legal persons ,
- Postal address,
- Phone or fax number,
- Status of the user.
The HCC is under a legal duty to protect any information collected from the users of the website (including registration, complaint, feedback, survey forms) and keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it. It shall not disclose the data submitted by the users to any third parties unless we are required to do so in case of unlawful use of this site.
In addition, when the users submit data, they should ensure that information provided:
